Louise Pelletier

Louise Pelletier was trained as an architect, but decided a few years ago to take a step back from active practice, and now takes pleasure at watching from a distance the glorious accomplishments and egoistic folly that marks the built environment. Along the way, she has taught in various schools of architecture and design, and has written non-fiction books with academic presses such as Routledge and The MIT Press, a commercial guidebook about Montreal with Sgraff, and over twenty articles in scholarly publications, magazines and exhibition catalogues. She currently is the director of the School of Design at the Universite du Quebec a Montreal (UQAM).

Visiting artist at Arts Letters & Numbers Summer Workshop 2012-2013.
