Ian Tousius
Ian Tousius is a multidisciplinary visual artist from Queens, New York. He graduated from SVA in 2017 with a BFA in Cartooning. He mainly focuses on creating drawings and prints that are collected in handmade small press publications. In addition, a great deal of time is spent with mask making, sculpture, live painting and projection. He uses his narrative-based work to discuss topics like power imbalances, untraditional love, belief systems and city living. Visual inspirations come from machinery, biology, cartoons and heavy metal music.
