Supper Club vol.4
On November 21st, Opalka Gallery, Collar Works and Arts Letters & Numbers invited 40 people to dine in the gallery. The dinner was created by Frida Foberg and Natasha Holmes. Three courses were served, each with its own take on how to eat together.

Like many serious minded people sensitive to the best situations, places and opportunities to achieve examples of the things we would like to see made possible in the world, I have attempted works of various kinds in many locations.
Voices of the Woods
A new program was introduced by Arts Letters & Numbers in October 2019. 12 students from Averill Park High School gathered in the studios every Tuesday afternoon for 8 weeks. The program Voices of the Woods was lead by ALN fellow Natasha Holmes, supported by Associate Director Frida Foberg, fellow Jennifer Park and fellow Hyunbae Chang.

Revolution: Thesis at ALN
Together, Revolution: Thesis at ALN and the Summer Residency created a framework for Summer at ALN 2019, which brought people from 13 countries, to participate in the programs. While each of these programs had its own unique character, they both offered space for people to pursue their questions in conversation with others and create emergent works within a creative community.
Cosmos Night: Flood of Light
On September 8th, 2019, smudge studio invited our artists in residence for an interactive micro-production. The micro-production, entitled Cosmos Night Flood of Light included a moon-viewing experience and serving of tea. The event, staged to coincide with the September waxing moon, was held outside the Studios, next to the creek.

Inaugural TurnPark Benefit
Food has for years been a crucial part of life at Arts Letters & Numbers and has created a depth of interaction within all of the programs. The events are often accompanied by expressive food installations bringing new dimensions to the social engagements of eating together.
Come Make with Us
In the shape of a festival - Come Make with Us, as the title hints, was an invitation to the community to experience and participate in the many works created during 'Summer at ALN'. Through multiple forms and medias, the works created a platform for interactions between the audience, the artists, the spaces and the continuous unfolding of the questions.
