Thanks to all the support and participation of artists and community, the seventh edition of 3RD-THURSDAY was successfully held an enlightening and inspiring exchange at Arts Letters & Numbers. We express great gratitude to following presented artists along with visitors and supporters.

Hyunbae Chang_Prior to joining ALN, Hyunbae has been drawing a story of a refugee at the border between South and North Korea. Regarding architecture as a social apparatus, he is examining and imagining a story of the doubt and empathy in a culture by drafting the architectural plans and sections, and sometimes projections.

Frida Foberg_Frida's artistic work evolve around the awareness of how we do what we do, while we are doing it. The context of her work is the daily life, the situations, rooted in culture and personality traits, we might not contemplate upon. Her larger body of work Why Are We Eating Together, is a research on the intersection of these patterns.

Sophia Krupsha_Sophia Krupsha was born in Kingston, Pennsylvania in 1998. She is studying for her BFA in Drawing & Painting and a Minor in Art History from The Pennsylvania State University and is expected to graduate in 2021. Sophia currently lives and works in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
Ying Lin_ A Maker rather than a dreamer, A Designer who also make art, All I care is to continue creating. Stay curious and keep exploring forever.
Alice Momm_Alice Momm is a New York City based artist whose work has been inspired both by her immersion in and longing for nature. Her ephemeral and sculptural works have been exhibited at venues such as Wave Hill in the Bronx, Islip Art Museum in East Islip, NY, Stone Quarry Hill Art Park in Cazenovia, NY, Hambidge Center in Rabun Gap, GA. She has participated in many artist residencies including I-Park in East Haddam, CT, Hambidge Center, and Stone Quarry Hill Art Park. Momm holds an MFA from the University of Southern California and a BFA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. In addition to her work as an artist, Momm is a curator specializing in art in health care settings.
Carolina Muñoz_Carolina is a Chilean artist with a growing interest in the physical possibilities of materials and the uncertainty of their behavior in time and space. With a background in architecture and sciences, there is an underlying objectivity that is challenged within her works. Searching for a transformation not only in physical terms, but as well as conceptual. She graduated from her bachelor and masters in architecture at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2018. Since 2016, Carolina has been working as an architect for a couple of firms in Santiago, and also assisting in building and writing courses at her university. Before coming to Arts Letters & Numbers, she worked for her thesis professor as a researcher for modern architecture in the north of Chile, with special interest in the adaptive reuse of heritage and raising awareness about the existence of a collective memory.
Jennifer Park_Jennifer Park is an artist engaging architecture and humanity. With a dual background, US and Republic of Korea, JP has pursued the ways to support people’s lives through drawing, writing, and making. Beyond the boundary of conventional architecture, JP's works open up from trivial observations in everyday life, branching out in a various medium; drawing, painting, poetry, precise, photography, installation, and architecture.
Josephine Nørtoft Saabye_Josephine received her bachelor in architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2017. Throughout her education she has served on various committees and boards to advocate for students’ interests and to better understand the structure of educational institutions. During her degree she also did a internship in 2016 at Rural Urban Framework (RUF), a non-profit design research lab based at Hong Kong University, where she will return as a research assistant in 2018.
Arezu Salamzadeh_Arezu Salamzadeh is a Toronto-born, Brooklyn-based artist who received her BFA Fine Arts, Honors, from the School of Visual Arts. Her work spans from performance and installation to video, bookmaking, painting, and more. Her past works have touched on themes of cultural identity, relational aesthetics, uncanny reflections on childhood, and sexual humor. She believes in making playful art for the sake of human happiness. She is a notorious candy lover, heart breaker, and romantic.
Zubin Singh_Zubin Singh studied architecture at the University of Waterloo where he received his Bachelor of Environmental Science and Master's of Architecture. He has worked in several architecture firms in Toronto, Ottawa, Los Angeles and San Francisco, built low-cost housing in Costa Rica, worked in a botanical garden in Tofino, British Columbia, and spent a year in Italy, studying in Rome and Pescara. He has also taught design studio and courses in architectural history and cultural history at McGill University and the University of Waterloo. Zubin recently finished his Ph.D.candidate in the History and Theory of Architecture Program at McGill University, writing on the Masque projects of John Hejduk.
Jennifer Zackin_For the last 20 years Jennifer Zackin has been integrating public art, sculpture, installation, performance, collaboration, ceremony, photography, video, collage and drawing into acts of reverence and reciprocity. Whether wrapping trees in patterns of brightly colored rope, growing medicinal herbs in a public garden for public use, offering large masses of rose petals to oceans and lakes, creating absorbent tentacles ("hair booms") out of salvaged materials to aid in the clean-up efforts of toxic spills, Zackin seeks to engage and create community in her process, bringing art and ritual into everyday life. Every act is an exploration of exchange, communion, performance, skill-sharing and mark-making.
