Inaugural TurnPark Benefit
Food has for years been a crucial part of life at Arts Letters & Numbers and has created a depth of interaction within all of the programs. The events are often accompanied by expressive food installations bringing new dimensions to the social engagements of eating together.
Big Bang Conference | Big Picture Learning
Earlier this year, Arts Letters & Numbers established a partnership with the global education organization Big Picture Learning to develop new projects in the Albany Area, as well as, Nationally and Internationally.
Artist in Residence Show
On June 28th, we had a beautiful artist in residence show by Marie Claire Macadar after a festive summer communal dinner. The show started with a video presentation of Marie Claire’s completed puppet shows, including “Hangers! The Musical”, which was nominated for the 2015 National Puppet Slam.
Creative Economy Mixer
Each month the Upstate Alliance for the Creative Economy (ACE) holds a Creative Economy Mixer. We are honored to have been the chosen host this months event. This was an incredible opportunity to share ALN with a community who might otherwise not know our organization.

"The Architecture of Public Spaces as Museums: The case of MOMAFAD" at EMST - Temporary Exhibitions Space (-1), is the inauguration of the 1st MOMAFAD and is being held as part of “SunShip: The Arc That Makes The Flood Possible,” Arts Letters & Number’s exhibition in the CITYX Venice Italian Virtual Pavilion of the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale.

Education Reimagine Conference
This year, Director David Gersten was invited to join Education Reimagine’ national working group for Learner Centered Education. The group is holding multiple meetings, bringing together diverse voices from across the country, to work towards expanding Learner Centered opportunities for more children…

Andriy Sovetov
On Sunday June 2nd, our artist in residence Andriy Sovetov has shared a recital on the grand piano in the House at Arts Letters & Numbers.
Cecilia Ferneborg & Dave Shepherd
On June 1st, we had a concert and dance of jazz/soul/folk music by two Philadelphia-based artists Cecilia Ferneborg and Dave Shepherd at the Barn in Arts Letters & Numbers. From the side porch of the House, the fire and the barn were filled up with lights, sound, and energy.

On Mar 16th, Rúni Weihe presented his artist residence show, Moving on: on my ongoing writings; poetry, notes and travelogue. The show was of a discussion of three different manuscripts that Rúni is currently working on.
Snowed Under: A crash course in dealing with epistemological dread
From Mar 11th to 13th, Yurika Higashikawa presented her artist residence show, Snowed Under: A crash course in dealing with epistemological dread. In the three-day session, YU shared a wide range of works reflecting diverse aspect of own.
Between Jerusalem and Tokyo
On Feb 24th, Efrat Arielle Peleg presented her artist residence show, Between Jerusalem and Tokyo. During her eight weeks at Arts Letters &Numbers, Efrat Arielle Peleg took the time to process her three years living and working in the city of Jerusalem.
