Sunday Night Live Concert
We were excited to host an onsite concert, a gift from Creative Music Intensive faculty and visiting artists Michael Harrison, Elliot Cole, Ritvik Yaparpalvi and Payton MacDonald. The concert was opened to all ALN onsite residents, local community and everyone came to ALN on the 21st, as well as all online participants of CMI 2022.

As a living legend, Terry Riley’s career as composer / performer has spanned over 6 decades starting in the San Francisco Bay Area in the late 50’s up to the present time in Japan. On Friday August 26th, 2022, Terry Riley and Sara Miyamoto offered an online zoom live concert from Japan. The concert was free and open to all thanks to Terry Riley's graciously offering!

Creative Music Intensive 2022
The 2022 Summer Creative Music Intensive was a two-week hybrid program ( In-person & Online ) held from August 14th – 28th at Arts Letters & Numbers. Participants were immersed in the creative process of making and performing music, exploring new approaches and developing individual and collaborative works as creative artists.
SunShip Thesis 2022
The 2022 Summer SunShip Thesis was a three-week hybrid program ( in-person & online ) held from July 23rd to August 14th 2022 with both in-person participants at ALN campus and online participants from different places of the world. This unique multi-disciplinary thesis program was led by ALN founding director David Gersten and ALN recurring visiting artist Homa Shojaie.
