Symbiosis in Love

Workshop/Music-Dance Performance

05/18 -05/19.24

Description (Symbiosis in Love)

In "Symbiosis in Love," participants delve into a sensory experience that deepens their understanding of the interconnectedness of all living beings. Through multimedia installations, interactive experiences, and live performances, participants have the opportunity to listen to the amplified voices of the terrestrial world. Simultaneously, they can appreciate the intricate relationships between pollinators and plants through music, reimagining connections between humans and the Earth.

Engaging with the central installation, participants appreciate the intricate relationships between humans and the Earth through music and visual elements. By observing how their actions influence the melodic patterns produced by plants, they develop a deeper understanding of their connection with nature. Through real-time manipulation of the soundscape, they enhance their ability to connect meaningfully with the natural world.

Complementing the auditory experience, curated footage and tactile exploration of plant textures provide insights into ecosystem dynamics and the role of pollinators in sustaining life on Earth.

During live performances by Qi Ming, participants not only hear musical compositions inspired by symbiosis and interconnectedness but also witness the integration of plant sounds and field recordings from nature. They are surrounded by plant harmonies and nature sounds, promoting relaxation and inner peace. This holistic approach fosters a greater appreciation for natural beauty and our relationship with the environment.
