Saskia Krafft

After her Art History studies at the University of Hamburg, Saskia Krafft received an BA from the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and studied Fine Arts with a concentration in sculpture at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg, Germany.

Her work is still strongly influenced by her artistic background of drawing and printmaking, but due to numerous field and research trips all over Europe, to Russia and the Middle East, her work turned into an interplay between the most different media by implementing sculptures, prints and architectural elements in installations. In 2015 she participated in the Study Abroad Program of the Multidisciplinary Arts Department of the Shenkar College in Israel and the General Fine Arts Program of the Maryland Institute College of Art in the United States. In 2017 she will continue her MFA graduate studies in the United States as a Fulbright scholar.

She received grants of the Ditze-Foundation and the German Academic Exchange Service and participated in exhibitions in Germany, Israel and the United States.
