Siobhan Gilbert
Siobhan is a recent MFA graduate in Dramatic Writing from NYU. Her work has been featured at Primary Stages, NYU, Classical Theater of Harlem, HERE Arts Center, Dixon Place, Davenport Theater, the Last Frontier Theater Conference, and the Old Globe in San Diego. Her play Spotlight was a semi-finalist at the Bay Area Playwrights Festival. Her film, Westward Expansion, was in 2014’s NY 48 Hour Film Festival. She was a 2015 semi-finalist for the Princess Grace Award. Her play, The Flying Machine, was a finalist for the 2015 Henley Rose Playwriting Competition for Women. She’s the 2015 MFA fellow to Sewanee Writer’s Conference. She’ll be an artist in residence at Creede Rep in Colorado, the Tyrone Guthrie Center in Ireland, and Listhús in Iceland. Her screenplay, Alsos, was a finalist for the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Science in Film initiative 2015 commission at the Sundance Institute. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild.
