Artist in Residence Show
Friday September 1st we invited everyone to join us for an evening exhibition around the House on the Hill: Under the tree, in the Barn and on the grass Field.
Cello Constellations
On Friday July 28 the concert "Cello Constellations" filled the salon at House on the Hill with beautiful tunes, featuring composer/pianist Michael Harrison & cellist Clarice Jensen with Anirban Roy Chowdhury on tabla.
Constitution
With CONSTITUTION, Arts Letters & Numbers proposed a dynamic crucible of free thought, a space where the widest spectrum of who we are could ask the questions of our time and create works that would bring us forward. A space where many elements could come together to create the alchemy of transforming how we experience today into how we will experience tomorrow.
The End is Coming
On June 14th our Artist in Residence Julie Puma exhibited her work while Ruby Jayaseelan simultaneously performed an interpretation of Julie's work in the form of improvisational dance.

Uncanny You
“Uncanny You” is audio-visual theatre performance by Ann Mirjam Vaikla and Lærke Grøntved. The project researches and focuses on “uncanny” spaces and situations.

Arts Letters & Numbers first Residency Intensive was held between January 7th and January 21st. Lead by Che Perez, Frida Foberg and Rikke Jørgensen.
Lead to Air
Creative archaeologist and journalist, Christine Finn, celebrated the role of the media, in Lead to Air, a performance art piece inspired by old newsroom technology and collaborative process, in sound, word, and action, performed at the Barn on Sunday January 22nd, 2017.
Film Screenings
This film series is being crafted as we go along. Each screening is imagined to be an island and conversations around the films are how we navigate from one island to the next.
Jam in the Salon
Going back in time at the House on the Hill, we opened the doors to a the speakeasy salon from the 1920’s.
Pioneer Works Alternative Art School Fair
In mid-November we were invited to participate in the weekend-long Alternative Art School Fair (AASF) at Pioneer Works in Red Hook, Brooklyn, along with +50 other schools/institutions/project spaces.
Harmonic Sky
Over the course of 5 weeks Arts Letters & Numbers hosted the installation Harmonic Sky, a collaborative project created by conceptual artist Megan Mosholder and composer Michael Harrison.
Gimme Shelter
Emma Harling, a New York based Swedish textile designer and artist, spent two-weeks of residency at Arts, Letters & Numbers.
There are leaks in the pipes, and it's dripping in the room
The installation "There are leaks in the pipes, and it's dripping in the room" by our long term Artist in Residence Elsa Mencagli took place on November 6th, 2016 in the House on the Hill.
An Evening of Appreciation
Arts Letters & Numbers would not have grown to where we are today, without the tireless, continuous support and help of our friends and volunteers.

On October 29th, 2016 Bat-Ami Rivlin showed her work produced during her residency, in her solo-exhibition Untitled: Fleshy Objects.
Work Weekends
The spaces we inhabit have been around for much longer that we have and that requires a certain precision of care and awareness; to repair and maintain and furthermore to imagine their full potential at every step of the way.
